For that we need to know your habits of use, in order for us to give you an exceptional service that adapts to you. This Policy applies to every service of Simple Wallet and any related service (the “Simple Wallet Service”). 4. Personal data we collect from you

In this section we will explain what personal data we collect and use about you and how we collect it.

 

User Data

This is the personal data that is provided by you or collected by us, to allow you to register and use the Simple Wallet Service. This personal data can include: name, username, email address, birth date, and gender. Some of the aforementioned personal data are mandatory in order to create your account.

The exact personal data we collect from you depends on the way you create your account, that is, whether or not you use third party services (e.g. Google) to sign up and use the Simple Wallet Service. If you use a third party service to create your account, we will receive personal data through that third party service, but only when you have already given consent to that third party service for sharing your personal data with us.

 

Usage Data

This is the personal data that we collect about you when you’re accessing or using the Simple Wallet Service, includes:

     Information about your interaction with the Simple Wallet Service, like your search queries (including date and time of any request you make), your search history, your interactions with the content and other users of the Service.This may also include details about your use of third party applications in connection with the Simple Wallet Service.

     Inferences extracted about your interests and preferences based on your use of the Simple Wallet Service.

     User Content (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use) that you upload to the Simple Wallet Service.

     Certain technical data, that may include:

     URL information

     Online identifiers, including cookie data and IP addresses.

     Information about the type of devices you use, like the unique device IDs, network connection type (e.g. WiFi, 3G, LTE), provider, network and device performance, type of browser, language, operating system, and Simple Wallet application version.

     Your non-precise location, that can be derived or inferred by certain technical data (e.g. your IP address), to comply with geographic requirements of licensing and to provide you personalized advertisements.

 

Surveys Data

When you respond to any survey, we collect the personal data that you provide us.

 

Authentication Partners

If you registered or signed in our Service using third parties credentials (e.g. Google), we will import your information from those third parties in order to create your Simple Wallet account.

 

Technical Service Partners

We work with technical service partners that provide us certain data, like the mapping of the IP addresses to non-precise locations (e.g. city or state), to enable us to provide the Simple Wallet Service.

 

Advertisers and other advertising partners

We may obtain certain data about you, such as cookie id, mobile device id, email address, or  inferences about your interests and preferences from certain advertisers y and advertising partners that allow us to deliver more relevant advertisements and to measure their effectiveness.

Personal data that will only be shared if, you choose to make use of a specific feature of the Simple Wallet Service that requires such data to function properly, or when you grant us the permission to share your personal data, e.g. by selecting the adequate setting in the Simple Wallet Service or authorizing Simple Wallet through a presented mechanism of consent.

 

Personal data we may share

     With service providers: We work with service providers that work on our behalf, which may need to access certain personal data in order to provide us their service.

     With advertising partners: We work with advertising partners that allow us to customize the advertising content that you may receive on the Simple Wallet Service. These partners help us deliver more relevant announcements and promotional messages.

     With law enforcement and data protection authorities: We share your personal data when we believe in good faith that it is necessary for us to do so to comply with a legal obligation under applicable law, or to respond to a valid legal process, such as a search warrant, a court order, or a subpoena.

     With purchasers of our business: We will share your personal data in those cases where we sell or negotiate the sale of our business to a buyer or potential buyer. In this situation, Simple Wallet will continue to guarantee the confidentiality of your personal data and give you notice before your personal data is transferred to the buyer or subject to a different privacy policy.

 

 

7. Data retention and deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide you with the Simple Wallet Service and for legitimate business purposes, such as maintaining the performance of the Service, making business decisions about new features and offers, complying with our legal obligations, and resolving disputes. We keep some of your personal data for only as long as you are a user of the Simple Wallet Service, e.g. your account information.

 

Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account at any time. We offer two methods for account deletion:

     From within the App: You can delete your account by accessing the account settings within the Simple Wallet app.

     From the Web: You can also delete your account via the web by visiting the Account Deletion Page and following the instructions provided.

 

Upon your request, we will delete or anonymize your personal data so that it cannot identify you, unless we are legally allowed or required to retain certain personal data, including in situations such as:

     If there is an unresolved issue related to your account, such as an unresolved claim or dispute.

     Where we need to retain the personal data for our legal, tax, audit, and accounting obligations. We will keep the necessary personal data for the time required by applicable law.

     Where necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention or to maintain the security of our users.

 

 

8. Transfer to other countries

Simple Wallet shares your personal data globally with a group of companies with the objective of carrying out the activities specified in this Policy. Simple Wallet may also subcontract processing to, or share your personal data with, third parties located in other countries, different from the country where you are. Therefore, your personal data may be subject to privacy laws that are different from those in your country.

 

The personal data collected within the European Union may, for example, be transferred and processed by third parties located in countries outside of the European Union. In such cases Simple Wallet will take the appropriate measures to ensure that those transfers are made securely.

 

 

9. Links

Within the Simple Wallet Service, we may display third-party advertisements and other content that link to third-party websites. We cannot control or be held responsible for the privacy practices of third parties or their content. If you click or open the links previously mentioned, please understand that you are leaving the Simple Wallet Service and that any personal data you provide there, will not be covered by this Policy. In such cases, please read the third party's privacy policy to find out how they collect and process your personal data.

 

 

10. Your personal data safety

We are committed to protecting the personal data of our users. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security of your personal data. However, please note that no system is ever completely secure.

 

Your password protects your user account, so we encourage you to use a strong and unique password for your Simple Wallet account, never share your password with anyone, limit access to your computer, browser, or mobile device and log out after using the Simple Wallet Service.

 

 

11. Minors

The Simple Wallet Service is not directed to children under 13 years old. The Simple Wallet Service is also not directed to children whose ages make it illegal to process their data or requires parental consent for the processing of their personal data under the GDPR or other local law.

 

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years old or under the applicable age limit (the “Age Limit”). If you are under the Age Limit, please do not use the Simple Wallet Service and do not provide us any personal data.

12. Changes to the Policy

We may modify this Policy from time to time. When these are substantial changes, we will provide you the proper notice according to the circumstances, e.g. by showing an appropriate notice within the Service itself or by sending you an email. Sometimes we can notify you about these changes in advance and your continued use of the Simple Wallet Service after the changes have been made will establish your acceptance of them. Please take the necessary time to carefully read any notice about changes to the Policy we send you. If you do not want to continue using our Service due to changes in the Policy, you may terminate your account either from within the Service or by contacting us by email.
